Meet the brewer evening with Helen and Dave Maggs of West Berkshire Brewery.

West Berkshire CAMRA were lucky enough to spend a very enjoyable evening in the company of Helen and Dave Maggs, the owners and more importantly, the brewers of West Berkshire Brewery.

The evening was held in the brewery's first tied house and this year's West Berkshire CAMRA Pub of the Year, The Rising Sun in Stockcross.

As well as the fine buffet spread laid on by the pub, the fascinating talk given by Dave covering both the history of the brewery and the thinking behind some of his beers, plenty of opportunity was given over to sampling some of their fine brews.
