Mild Trail in Newbury To help promote CAMRA's annual Mild promotion for the month of May, West Berkshire CAMRA organised a Mild Trail to take place around the pubs in Newbury town centre which was held on Saturday the 10th of May. We started off at the Lion in West Street where they have regularly stock the Mild from Wadworth's Pint Size Microbrewery.
Enjoying the Mild in The Lion Our merry band then wove their way to the Lock Stock and Barrel where Thwaites Dark Mild was the drink of choice before moving on to the Queen's Hotel where they stock the Light Mild from Marston's. Finally, seeing as the event was about light bitters just as much as milds, we retired to The Coopers' Arms to enjoy a pint or two of Arkell's 3Bs.
