First Choko Beer
Festival
- The first Choko Beer Festival being held on
Saturday September 27th at Laurence’s Hall in Cholsey.
- Marquee with around 15 real ales.
- Also available cider, lager and wine.
- All-day bar-b-que.
- Live music
- Activities for children
- Charity Day supporting two charities:
- Style Acre provides supported living
services to adults with learning disabilities in South Oxfordshire.
- Choko links communities in South Oxfordshire
and South Africa, and raises funds for development work in the disadvantaged
community of Kodumela.
- The day starts at 11a.m. and carries
on until the beer runs out (or 11p.m.). Tickets are £4.50 in advance and
include a commemorative pint glass and are available from Ray Park’s
butcher’s shop or £5 at the gate on the day.
